Cincinnati Bengals 16, Kansas City Chiefs 6
The Bengals finished the season strong with a nice little home win last Sunday. They kept the game plan simple on offense deciding to run the ball and only throw when they had to. The result was that Cedric Benson had another solid game rushing for 111 yards on 25 carries (4.4 ypc) with a TD run. Ryan Fitzpatrick was efficient in completing 18 of 30 passes for 129 yards and he also rushed for 29 yards on 7 carries (4.1 ypc). The Bengals were ball hogs holding onto the football for 37:39 of this game which made things easy for the defense.
The defense was outstanding for the Bengals holding the Chiefs to only 220 total yards of offense. The Chiefs only rushed for 31 yards on 15 carries (2.1 ypc) in this game! The Bengals finished the season with a 4-11-1 record which was good for 3rd place in the AFC North.
