Bengals by the numbers

The Bengals are averaging 21.3 points per game this season, which is a little disappointing considering all the talent they have on the offensive side of the football.  The Bengals are only averaging 99.8 yards rushing per game and that needs to improve.  The passing game has been ok for the Cats averaging 215.0 net yards per game and completing 62.2% of their attempts.  Carson Palmer is looking more confident in the pocket every week.

The Bengals defense has been hammered by injury this season, but that’s no excuse.  The Bengals are allowing 18.8 points per game, which is pretty good considering how many yards they have allowed.  The Cats can’t stop the run as they allow 127.0 yards rushing per game and 4.6 yards per carry.  The opponents average 199.0 net yards passing and complete 57.3% of their passes.
